The recalled item is Canada Herb Red Chili, sold in variable rate packages. There is no code and no UPC number on the product. The Chili may have been sold in bulk or in smaller packages with or without a label. It is a product of Vietnam. It may not bear the brand of product name described. If you aren’t sure whether or not you purchased this product, check with the retailer.

If you bought this product, don’t eat it, even if you plan to cook it. Throw it away after first wrapping it in plastic wrap or foil, and place it in a secure garbage can with a lid so other people and animals can’t access it. You can also take it back to the store where you bought it for a refund.

The symptoms of a Salmonella infection usually start about 12 to 72 hours after exposure to the pathogen. People usually suffer from fever, nausea, vomiting, headache, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps.
