More than 40 references, including an organic line, new markets and the improvement of processing lines. 2018 ended in the best way possible for the Frozen branch of the Mazzoni Group. Similarly, 2019 has kicked off very positively as the company participated in the Sigep fair in Rimini.
The marketing manager Carlo Trevisan explained, “Frozen pulp is highly demanded by ice creameries and bakeries, and 2018 was an extremely positive year. We increased our business by 15% in Italy and 30% in Asia. Additionally, we have started marketing our products in those European countries where we were not that active”. From a marketing standpoint, Trevisan pointed out the new marketing phase in Japan and USA.
The manager pointed out, “We added new flavours to the Bio Purea line such as mango, lemon, raspberry and strawberry. Exotic fruits are provided by trusted suppliers that we selected and that we supervise throughout the production process. On the other hand, Italian fruit is taken by our own supply chain or it comes from partner companies”.
At the fair, a recipe book by the baker Cristian Pirani was showcased. This book will function as a support for those who want to try new things regarding the Mazzoni Group’s products.
Trevisan concluded, “The results are great, also with regards to the smoothie preparations. As the Frozen branch of Mazzoni Group, we invested a lot of money in the improvement of the production and packaging lines. In 2019, we expect to market 2 million Ketty Frutta branded boxes for the smoothies segment only”.
