Recently, the “Huafu Cold Chain Logistics Warehousing and Trading Center” project, the largest potato distribution center in Southwest China, started construction in the Yidi Poverty Relocation and Resettlement Area in Jingan Town, Zhaoyang District, Zhaotong City. The Zhong Leng Warehousing and Logistics Group, plans to invest 3.5 billion yuan to build a national-level 1 million ton cold chain logistics warehousing and trading center.
According to the plan, the construction project includes 700,000 tons of potato fresh-keeping strategic reserve and a 300,000 ton refrigerated reserve center. The Zhaotong City Plateau Agricultural and Sideline Products International Trading Center, a Potato International Trading Center, the Zhaotong Apple Trading Center, and the Zhaotong Tianma Trading Center, will also be housed on the site.
