Fruit Logistica was recently held in Berlin, Germany. Here, Hot Pepper King presented a new DIY Sambal pack. They are one of the Dutch association, Van Nature's, growers.
Hot Pepper King or HPK is a pepper nursery, based in Pijnacker-Nootdorp, the Netherlands. HPK specializes in cultivating a wide range of hot peppers. These include varieties such as Chili peppers, Jalapeno, and Habanero.
This company took a new packaging warehouse into use last year. This enables them to meet all of their clients' packaging needs.
For sambal lovers, HPK has developed a pack. This condiment can be used to make sambal at home easily. Preparation is simple and takes only 15 minutes. With this pack, Hot Pepper King is responding to the growing vegetable pack trend. These packs contain all the ingredients for a complete meal or dish.
The sambal pack consists of fresh peppers, fresh onion, and fresh garlic. Then there is also 20 ml of soya sauce in the package. Users only have to add brown sugar and salt. The recipe is explained, in clear steps, on the packaging.
The pack is gluten and lactose-free, so is suitable for everyone. The prepared sambal can be kept for a few weeks in the refrigerator.
The HPK sambal is mild and can, therefore, be used in every cuisine. The real sambal enthusiast can easily make the sambal extra-spicy by leaving in the pepper seeds and seed membranes.
