Tyson Foods partners with chili lime seasoning brand to spice up protein offerings

Tyson Foods, Springdale, Ark., and its Hillshire Farm brands partnered with Tajín, a Mexico-based chili lime seasoning brand, launched five new products featuring the Tajín Clásico Seasoning, a unique blend of mild chili peppers, dehydrated lime juice and sea salt that’s primarily used to enhance the flavor of desserts, vegetables, fresh fruit and protein.

Tyson Tajín Chili Lime Chicken Nuggets are made with 100% all-natural ingredients and all-white-meat chicken, with no antibiotics ever.

Tyson Any’tizers Tajín Chili Lime Boneless Chicken Bites are made with 100% all-natural ingredients and all-white-meat chicken, with no antibiotics ever.

Hillshire Farm Tajín Chili Lime Smoked Sausage with Mango is a smoked sausage made from 100% real pork with mango.

Hillshire Farm Tajín Chili Lime Lit’l Smokies is a smoked sausage made with pork and chicken.

“We know people are looking for more authentic, flavor-forward foods that tap into today’s globalized palates,” says chef Alexa McKay, who helped inspire the Tajín-flavored products for Tyson. “Our partnership with Tajín not only delivers on the growing interest in these flavor varieties, but also means you don’t have to make a trip to your favorite ethnic restaurant to enjoy them.”

“Tajín brings a unique, flavorful chili-lime ‘zing’ that pairs perfectly with these products,” says chef Michelle Duran, who helped inspire the Tajín-flavored products for Hillshire Farm. “Now, consumers will have even more opportunities to spice up meals with our new flavorful sausage and chicken offerings.”
