Over the first 9 months of 2019, Georgia exported vegetables worth $8.7 million. This is 2.4% more than in 2018, when the export of vegetable products amounted to $ 8.5 million.
The most exported products have been tomatoes, with $ 1.8 million, mushrooms ($ 0.9 million), potatoes ($ 0.9 million) and cucumbers ($ 0.7 million).
According to the National Statistics Service of Georgia, the value of fruit and nut exports in the first three quarters of 2019 fell by 6.92% and amounted to $ 61.9 million. The main products here have been hazelnuts ($ 29.5 million), peaches ($ 12.5 million), apples ($ 4.4 million), bananas ($ 4.4 million), mandarins ($ 2.0 million), pistachio ($ 1.4 million) and walnuts ($ 1.2 million).
