The fast-casual chain was known for its breadsticks and family-style rib, chicken and pizza meals. After filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, a few company-operated restaurants closed, while franchise locations remained open.
The individual owners of the chain plan to rebrand restaurants under the name - O's American Kitchen. The newly formed restaurant company will be headquartered in San Diego.
In addition, the owners have hired an executive chef to help with a menu revamp, which will feature more pastas and pizzas.
O's American Kitchen spokesman Ron Camera said the brand will be a more evolved version of a fast-casual restaurant.
"We know that people are seeking bolder flavors with more diversity, so our menu will offer other choices with ethnic influences side by side next to hot and delicious breadsticks - a little something for everyone," he added.
The changes, which also include contemporary interiors incorporating a warmer color scheme and the new logo, are expected to be implemented over the next six to 12 months. The restaurants will be reopened under the O's American Kitchen name.
