Core Tip: Irish dairy company Fivemiletown Creamery has launched a range of ice-creams. The new range has been developed as part of the company’s plan to diversify the business further and faciltate high returns for Northern Ireland dairy farmers.
Initially, the company will focus on marketing the new products to foodservice clients in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland through the company's existing distribution channels, reported Belfast Telegraph.

Fivemiletown Creamery marketing manager Peter Dunlop said that expanding into new product areas was a logical step for the company.

"As well as our new cheese products, we saw an opportunity to make greater use of the increasing levels of milk we are attracting because of our commitment to ensure the highest returns possible to our suppliers in Tyrone, Fermanagh and other parts," Dunlop added.

Fivemiletown Creamery supplies soft cheeses to Great Britain, the Republic of Ireland, other parts of Europe, US, and Asia. It also produces creamy cheddars.
