American ice cream parlor chain Baskin-Robbins has signed a master licensing agreement with IceDream to develop up to 50 outlets across the Philippines over the next five years.
Under the expansion, the chian will mainly focus on the Greater Manila area and major metropolitan areas across the country.
Dunkin' Brands International president Giorgio Minardi said, "With Southeast Asia becoming an increasingly important region for the Baskin-Robbins brand, we look forward to serving our guests in the Philippines our wide variety of ice cream flavors, custom ice cream cakes and frozen treats."
The soon to open Baskin-Robbins restaurants in the Philippines will feature the brand's extensive selection of classic ice cream flavors, including Pralines 'n Cream, Mint Chocolate Chip and Very Berry Strawberry, alongside regional favorites such as Green Tea and Mango Tango.
The brand will offer its range of custom ice cream cakes, frozen beverages, ice cream sundaes and frozen treats.
Baskin-Robbins currently has nearly 7,000 outlets in nearly 50 countries around the world, including more than 400 outlets across Southeast Asia. This includes locations in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
