Gordon Polson, director of the Federation of Bakers, said it is delighted to welcome the firm.
“Membership numbers continue to build and we become a bigger collective who can speak for a large proportion of the plant bakery industry and make sure their voice is heard,” Polson said.
This addition brings the number of associate members in the UK’s Federation of Bakers up to 13.
Spooner Industries will join AB Mauri, ADM Milling, Baker Perkins, British Bakels, CCFRA, Cereform, Edme, Fuerst Day Lawson, GB Ingredients, Lesaffre Group, Puratos and Zeelandia.
Spooner Industries manufactures processing equipment for the bakery and food sector and is represented globally across a range of markets.
