Chocolat Moderne won sofi Award for best speciality chocolate product

Core Tip: US firm Chocolat Moderne has won the sofi Award for best speciality chocolate product for its lime offering at the Summer Fancy Food Show in Washington, D.C. last week.
The awards ceremony from the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) took place on Monday last week.


The sofi Awards are dedicated to the $75 billion specialty food industry. "Sofi" stands for specialty outstanding food innovation.

Chocolat Moderne Lime, contains a 65% cacao blend of dark chocolate from French firm Valrhona. The crunchy bar has nuggets of butter toffee and gives a cool lime taste.

Big Picture Farm L3C, was also honoured at the awards for the best confection for its Farmstead Goat Milk Caramels.
