The first plant, which will be built with an investment of EGP100m (16.29m), will have the capacity to produce 10,000 tons of concentrate annually. It will be constructed on a 20,000m² site and is expected to become operational in April 2013.
The second plant will be built with a similar cost on a 40,000m² site, and will produce 20,000 tons of frozen vegetables annually, reported Zawya.com.
UEFI, established in 1999, produces and distributes frozen food products for the retail and food-service-sectors.
