In the case of blueberries, in the 2010-2011 season 22,796,929 boxes were exported while in the 2011-2012 this figure increased to 23,222,962 boxes. The East Coast of the United States also has become the first export destination for blueberries which is followed in importance by Europe and later by the West Coast of the United States.
While table grapes and blueberries have shown a slight increase in their exports of past seasons, it has been observed that in the 20011-2012 season cherries increased 25% compared to exports of this fruit in the previous period. From 11,562,338 boxes exports increased up to 14,554,899 boxes. The main export market for Chilean cherries is the Far East, in second place is Europe and then the East Coast of the United States.
For avocados, an increase of 24% in export has been seen whereas in the case of
red apples export has decreased by 27% (between 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 season up to early April of this year). From 15,634,449 it went up to 11,402,187 boxes for export. Europe is the main consumer of Chilean avocado with a total of 6,859,741 boxes while the United States is the second export destination for that product.

For their part, plums have kept similar figures for the 2010-2011 season and the 2011-2012 where we see a slight decrease in the value achieved through April of this year. 12,083.452 boxes of plums were exported in the 2010-2011 season while in the 2011-2012 season this figure fell to 12,038,674 boxes. While the main export market is Europe, for Chile's red apples, Latin America is considered as their main destination which is followed by Europe and the Middle East.
In total during the 2010-2011 season 191,624,458 boxes of Chilean fruit to the different international markets were exported while from September 2011 to early April of this year 192,983,194 boxes were exported which shows an increase of 0.71%. The East Coast of the United States is the main export destination for Chilean fruit which is followed by Europe, the Far East, West Coast of the United States and Latin America.
