Core Tip: Patisserie Valerie plans to launch a new range of gluten-free bakery goods in the UK, to cater to those suffering with coeliac disease and allergies.
The company will launch gluten-free chocolate brownie, which will be the first of its several new products to be introduced under its new line in 2012, reported Bakeryinfo.co.uk.

Patisserie Valerie UK operations director Jon Hassall said the new product has received a positive response from the taste testers.

"This introduction of the first of many gluten-free products is part of our ongoing menu development and one we are excited about expanding further in the future," Hassall added.

Patisserie Valerie, based in Bristol, UK, operates more than 53 cafés in London and across England. It offers hand-made cakes, patisseries and croissants under brands such as Patisserie Valerie, Druckers Vienna Patisserie and Baker & Spice.
