Core Tip: US chemical firm Inolex has received approval for the use of Lexolube FG 220 OCL from the Ministry of Forestry and Agriculture of New Zealand.
The approval allows for the use of this lubricant in all food processing applications except dairy where contact with food product is a possibility.

Inolex Lubricants Business Director Tyler Housel said that the approval opens a new market for Inolex.

Inolex synthetic esters are used to produce lubricants used for food processing, textile manufacturing, metalworking fluids, hydraulic fluids, chain lubricants and low temperature oils and greases.

The company noted that the synthetic esters are heat resistant to 500 F/260 C, flexible and adaptable to practically any application challenge.

Inolex develops specialty chemicals and ingredient systems for the personal care and lubricant industries.
