arket chain Auchan have introduced their own smartphone app "My Auchan". The new app allows customers to detect the nearest Auchan store and price items.The application recognize about 260 products already preset in the system. My Auchan is available from the app store. The French retailers have been huge innovators on the hypermarket.They were the first supermarket to launch a drive-thru where you shop for your groceries online. They also have been the first to introduce a self scanning system, where customers find a scanner at the entrance of the store and scan products while shopping.
