Nestlé USA has announced the launch of its Halloween range as it gears up for what it hints could be a profitable seasonal period.
The company said that Halloween candy sales grew by 5% last year as families prepared larger Halloween celebrations.
Speaking about the Halloween period, Tricia Bowles of Nestlé Confections & Snacks: “It’s a fast growing season in terms of in candy sales.”
“Moms are making holiday plans weeks in advance and buying candy well ahead of the season.”
“Specialty treats and value top the list of must haves and now, more than ever, bagged variety candy is in demand.”
