The products, which come in pint tubs and bar, are available across the US in October 2012 in a variety of flavours.
Yoplait-brand yogurt owner General Mills has licensed Iowa-based Well Enterprises to manufacture the frozen yogurt products in the US.
“Yoplait frozen yogurt is a refreshing and rewarding way to feel good about the nutrition of yogurt with a new smooth and creamy ice cream-like experience,”said Wells Enterprises marketing manager Jill Feuerhelm. “We’ve taken the most popular flavours and transformed them into frozen yogurt.”
