Deschutes Brewery has partnered with Wirtz Beverage to market its craft beers in Illinois, US, early in 2013.
Wirtz Beverage Illinois senior vice president Julian Burzynski said Wirtz is thrilled to partner with Deschutes to launch into the craft beer market in Illinois.
"The growth and innovation of the Deschutes brands is a perfect match to our progressive approach to the business," Burzynski added.
The beers to be launched in Illinois include Red Chair NWPA, Mirror Pond Pale Ale; Chainbreaker White IPA and Black Butte Porter and will all be available in six-packs and draft starting in January 2013.
Deschutes Brewery national sales director Andy Tysler said, "We are looking forward to bringing our beers to the third largest city in the nation, and filling the increasing demand for craft beer in the region."
