Italian and European food group Barilla has launched its Italian cookie line-Mulino Bianco in the US.
The new cookie range will be available in five new varieties which include Baiocchi, Cuoricini, Galletti, Girotondi and Pan di Stelle.
Baiocchi is a hazelnut and chocolate cream enclosed in a double cookie. Cuoricini is a small heart-shaped cookie with chocolate drops.
Galletti, a cookie topped with sugar crystals; Girotondi is a short bread and cane sugar cookie; and Pan di Stelle is a cocoa cookie displaying 11 stars on it.
Americas group president Giannella Alvarez remarked that Barilla is a premium brand of pasta and with the manufacturing of Mulino Bianco, it will become the best brand of cookies and biscuits.
Mulino Bianco will be available in the specialty cookie aisle in supermarkets throughout the US at an RRP of $2.99 per 5.29 oz. package.
