Kashi, a US-based natural food company owned by Kellogg, has announced the national launch of Chocolate Almond Butter Cookie, a new soft baked cookie which combines decadent flavors and whole grains.

The new cookie mixes cocoa, almond butter, dark chocolate chips, almonds and the company's signature combination of seven whole grains.

Kashi noted that each cookie offers 10g of whole grains, 4g of fiber and 3g of protein per serving. The new product joins Oatmeal Dark Chocolate, Happy Trail Mix and Oatmeal Raisin Flax cookies, which have range of ingredients such as dark chocolate, raisins, sunflower seeds, cranberries, shredded coconut, peanuts, almonds, walnuts and flax seeds.

Kashi Chocolate Almond Butter Cookie, like all the company's products, is free of preservatives, artificial flavors, colors and high fructose corn syrup. It is now available at grocers and natural food retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $3.29.
