Sports drink Gatorade, owned by PepsiCo and distributed by Britvic in the UK, has roped in MiniFridge.co.uk to produce customized mini bar fridges.

The customized mini fridge will house all Gatorade's key products and is expected to drive the brand awareness.

The sports nutrition brand currently offers a number of products, from the classic Gatorade Perform in orange, blackcurrant and lemon flavors, to the Series Pro range, which provides athletes with nutrition for the three stages of athletic performance: Prime, Perform and Recover.

Gatorade's Grant O'Sullivan said: "We approached MiniFridge.co.uk as we were looking for a solution to reward our loyal customers and increase our brand awareness within these key accounts.' The fridges form part of Britvic's ongoing campaign to promote Gatorade in the UK."

MiniFridge.co.uk director Will Letterese said that customised fridge is an effective sales tool for special events and trade fairs.

Owned and operated by Styles Creative, MiniFridge.co.uk had already designed bespoke fridges for Japanese brewer Asahi Beer, Pepsi Max, Molson Coors, Swedish cider brand Rekorderlig, Shepherd Neame and Southern Comfort.

The company has also worked with corporate and media clients such as Channel 5's The Gadget Show, Orbital Creative and Stride PR.
