Asda is recalling a batch of Caramel Bites because peanuts are not mentioned on the ingredients list on the outer wrapper. If you are allergic to peanuts, do not eat this product. The Agency has issued an Allergy Alert.

The product being recalled is:

  • Asda 14 Caramel Bites, 280g pack
  • ‘Best before’ date: 14 September 2013
  • Batch number: L523732

Asda is recalling the above product from sale and will be contacting the relevant allergy support organisations who will inform their at-risk members of the recall. Customer notices will be displayed in stores.

If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to peanuts, do not eat it. Instead, return it to your nearest Asda store for a full refund.
