US-based Cedar's Mediterranean Foods, a manufacturer of Mediterranean cuisine, has received the Non-GMO Project Verification for its entire Hommus range.

The company's Mediterranean cuisine range includes hommus, pita chips, fresh salads, and tzatziki.

Cedar's Mediterranean Foods noted that recently, the company took up an initiative to develop clean, all natural products created with no genetically modified organisms.

In addition, the company plans to communicate to consumers that it is committed to provide them with food products that meet the Non-GMO standard. From November 2012, the Non-GMO Verified seal will be displayed on the label of each Cedar's package of Hommus .

Cedar's Mediterranean Foods, established in 1981, operates a 100,000ft2 manufacturing facility located in Ward Hill, Massachusetts.
