High Liner Foods announced today that it has added Shelly Jamieson to its board of directors.
Jamieson served for four years as Ontario's Secretary of Cabinet, Head of the Ontario Public Service and Clerk of the Executive Council. She also served for two years as Ontario's deputy minister of transportation. Prior to that, she served as president of Extendicare (Canada) Inc. and as executive director of the Ontario Nursing Home Association.
Today, Jamieson is CEO at the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, an independent, government-funded cancer awareness organization. She also serves on the national advisory board of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Canada. She has a degree in urban studies from the University of Toronto, and is a graduate of the executive management program at the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
