US-based restaurant chains Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s have introduced the Jalapeño Turkey Burger to the line of Charbroiled Turkey Burgers, just in time for the holiday season.
The Charbroiled Jalapeño Turkey Burger features sliced jalapeños, pepper-Jack cheese and Santa Fe sauce that are served on a whole wheat bun with sliced red onion, lettuce and tomato.
The Jalapeño Turkey Burger with 490 calories is available at a starting price of $3.49.
CKE Restaurants chief marketing officer Brad Haley said that Carl's Jr. and Hardee's are the first fast food chains to introduce turkey burgers.
CKE Restaurants, a privately held company, operates about 3,292 restaurants in 42 states and across 27 foreign countries, including 1,349 Carl's Jr. restaurants and 1,936 Hardee's restaurants.
