Musgrave is recalling SuperValu Vegetable Samosas which have been supplied to Budgens stores in the UK, as the product contain soy which is not declared on the label, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
The product being recalled is SuperValu 4 Vegetable Samosas, 160g, bearing a use by date of 30 December 2012. It was supplied to Budgens stores only.
The agency noted that due to a packaging error, a small number may contain chicken samosas which contain soya. As a result of this error, soya has not been declared on the label. This means the product might be a health risk to anyone who is allergic or sensitive to soya.
Musgrave is recalling the affected products from sale. Customer notices will be displayed in stores to notify consumers why the product has been recalled and what they can do if they have bought this product.
No other SuperValu products are known to be affected.
