Musgrave GB is recalling SuperValu Vegetable Samosas, with a 'use by' date of 30 December 2012, because the product contains soya that is not mentioned on the label. This product has been supplied to Budgens stores only. If you are allergic or sensitive to soya, do not eat this product. The Agency has issued an Allergy Alert.

Product details:

SuperValu 4 Vegetable Samosas, 160g

'Use by' date: 30 December 2012

The above date code of product is being recalled from sale because a small number may contain chicken samosas which contain soya. As a result of this packaging error, soya has not been mentioned on the label. This means the product might be a health risk to anyone who is allergic or sensitive to soya.

The company is recalling the affected products from sale. The product was supplied to Budgens stores only. Customer notices will be displayed in stores to tell consumers why the product has been recalled and what they can do if they have bought this product.

No other SuperValu products are known to be affected.
