India-based Parle Agro is set to re-launch its fruit drink range Saint in order to benefit from the 35% growth in the country's non-carbonated drinks market.
Saint Juice is a 100% fruit juice line produced in four varieties - apple, orange, grape and mixed fruit - that are available in 200ml and 1liter Tetra Paks.
Launched in 2008, the fruit drinks brand was withdrawn from the shelves two years later.
Parle Agro joint managing director and chief marketing officer Nadia Chauhan was quoted by Livemint.com as saying that the market, which is largely dominated by mango drinks, has now provided opportunity for other fruit variants as well.
"We are looking to bring a highly differentiated product to the market," she added.
According to Chauhan, the company is also planning to unveil its Appy Fizz carbonated apple drink in cans. Currently, the non-carbonated drinks market is dominated by Dabur India Ltd's Real juices, followed by PepsiCo's Tropicana.
