A co-financing scheme will provide in excess of 54 billion rubles for the development of an agro-industrial processing plant.
Revealed at a recent Board meeting of the ministry of agriculture and food, Moscow region, the build will be funded by the federal budget (19.7 billion rubles), regional budgets (17.6 billion), agricultural commoidity and equity funds (11.9 billion) and a contribution from the municipal funds which is expected to be 5.1 billion rubles.
The acting Minister of Agriculture and Food for Moscow, Tatyana Tikhonova stressed that this funding is well guided as it should boost agriculture in the region, which has enjoyed a good year. Agricultural output was 6 per cent higher that in 2011 last year and grossed 105 billion rubles. Milk production grew by 6 per cent (up 20 million tonnes).
Mrs Tikhonova stated that investment of this kind in agriculture could provide the rural communities with a brighter future.
