The Master Brewers Association of the Americas (MBAA) has officially launched its redesigned website (www.mbaa.com). The new site includes advanced features and technical information designed to provide an online community for brewers.
The new MBAA website is the largest technological undertaking ever from MBAA, taking thoughtful and careful planning from conception to reality to ensure the highest quality. The new site provides a cleaner interface, streamlined navigation, and strong search functionality. The result is a website rich in technical knowledge and a much more useful tool for members.
The new homepage features News on Tap, Tech Tips, the Member Feature, and District News, giving users a quick glance at technical information and what is happening in the industry. The brewing community is highlighted in the Districts area, allowing members to easily access the latest news within their local districts. Other highlights include the expanded Store and the improved Job Center. Future additions to the website will include a Q&A section and the “Brewpedia.”
MBAA Technical Director Karl Ockert feels that the new website has accomplished the original goals of creating a professional site that will support the community and provide easy-to-find brewing information. Former MBAA President and Website Committee member Robert McCaig added that the “new website is beyond our expectations in terms of overall look as well as functionality.”
The new website launched January 2, during the 125th Anniversary year for this leading brewing association. MBAA President Horace Cunningham stated, “This site positions us to stay true to our mission, which is to assist the brewing industry in continually improving processes and products. With the new mbaa.com we are prepared for even more growth and innovation in the coming years.”
The Master Brewers Association of the Americas was formed in 1887 with the purpose of promoting, advancing, and improving the professional interests of brewing and malt house production and technical personnel. Today, MBAA is a dynamic, global community working to advance the brewing, fermentation, and allied industries.
