ConAgra Foods has announced Greg Schlafer will join the company on February 25 as president of its Lamb Weston frozen potato business.
Schlafer will have specific responsibility for running Lamb Weston's global business, which ConAgra said serves more than 2,500 restaurant, foodservice and retail customers in 120 countries.
"Greg brings a customer-focused approach, 20 plus years of experience in the food industry, and a proven track record of success in the commercial/business-to-business space," said Paul Maass, president of Commercial Foods for ConAgra.
"I'm confident his leadership will add tremendous value for our customers, our suppliers, and our team as we continue maximizing the long-term potential of this important part of ConAgra Foods' business," he said.
Mass has been serving as Lamb Weston's interim CEO.
Schlafer most recently served as vice president of the bakeries and foodservice division for General Mills, where he was responsible for sales and profit delivery of all segment business units.
