Dharampal Satyapal (DS) Group had launched three new brands in the FMCG segment sometime ago. The group has plans to expand in the southern market with the three products.

These include Pass Pass Chingles mini chewing gums and two brands in the powdered drink segment. Catch Piyoz and Catch Yomil.

The first product is available in nimbu, saunf and mint and the group has invested approximately Rs 150 crore in the confectionary business with its launch. Piyoz has a wide choice in khatta meetha aampanna, chatpata jaljeera, sadaabahaar nimbu pani, tingling orange, fresh watermelon and rose. Yomil is available in choco milky, milky mango, milky rose and milky kesar badam.

Speaking on the occasion, Atanu Gangoly, category head, confectionary and powdered drink, said, “The southern market is the largest for the confectionary business and the weather conditions are quiet favourable for the powdered drinks segment too. The group is bullish about increasing its presence in the region, and we are gearing up to expand our channel network in the south and have aggressive marketing plans to further our growth.”
