US-based food software solution provider CAT Squared (CAT²) has teamed up with computing devices provider Janam Technologies to introduce a solution that is designed to help manufacturers improve food safety and quality.
The solution is a Food Safety and Total Quality Management Tool, which is known in the food industry as HAT (hazard analysis tool).
HAT converts plant floor data into actionable, process-improving, real-time intelligence. The data collection and analysis system provides users with consistent, reliable, and provable data in an easy-to-use format. It focuses on controlling processes and preventing failures so that the manufacturers can ensure that their products cater to the customers' standards for safety and quality.
Janam's antimicrobial version of XM Series mobile computers are certified for the HAT system. The device is designed to improve food safety, streamline operations and increase product quality
The Janam XM66AM and XM60+AM rugged antimicrobial mobile computers are handhelds devices that offer whole device antimicrobial coverage. The entire unit is protected by an antimicrobial coating that effectively kills microorganisms.
CAT² offers software solutions that are designed to cuts costs and improves efficiency by filling the gap between a company's ERP system and the plant floor with real-time data collection, yield calculations, real-time reporting, and farm-to-fork traceability.
