The National Fisheries Institute (NFI) has chosen Chris Lischewski, CEO of Bumble Bee Foods, as its new Chairman.
“We are excited to have such a dynamic leader in the seafood community at the helm of the industry's largest trade association,” said NFI Spokesman Gavin Gibbons.
Lichewski, in addition to his job at Bumble Bee, is also the founder and chairman of the International Seafood Sustainability Foundation. He also serves as Chairman of the Science and Regulatory Affairs Council. He has a bachelor of science degree from the University of Southern California, and holds a masters of business administration from the University of Southern California.
