The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment will allocate grants to fund promotion and information programmes for agricultural and fishery products, which will help develop new markets. Calls for these grants, which will have an amount of €840,000, have been published in the Government Gazette.

The Ministry has summoned grants for the development of new markets and promotional campaigns for fishery products and aquaculture.

These grants are eligible for nonprofit entities, representing the extractive sector and commercial fishing and aquaculture.

The aim is that these campaigns are promoted by various stakeholders, based in more than one region, so that there is nationwide promotion.
