United Biscuits, a UK-based manufacturer of biscuits and cakes, has revamped the packaging of Crawford’s range and introduced a new line of 69p price marked packs (PMPs).
Featuring large product images and price flashes on pack to increase on shelf stand out, the new packaging redesign will reflect the brand's heritage with a 200 year anniversary strapline. The new packaging will be featured on packs from April.
The company is also extending the Crawford's range with new additions including Fig Rolls, Garibaldi, Pink Wafers and Digestives, a Milk Chocolate Digestives 200g format priced at £1.10 and PMP of £1.
The non price marked range will also be available for 75p.
United Biscuits UK Market Strategy & Planning director Mark Sugden said that the new Crawford's PMP range allows retailers with the right products to take advantage of the demand for biscuits, at an affordable price.
"We'd therefore recommend retailers get stocked up to take advantage of the sales opportunity the range offers," Sugden said.
