Casa Herradura, a Mexico-based tequila distiller and subsidiary of Brown-Forman, is to release limited edition soccer bottles of el Jimador, a premium 100% agave tequila.
As an official sponsor of Major League Soccer (MLS), the US Men's and Women's National Teams and the annual US Tour of the Mexican National Team, el Jimador tequila will be released in three variants, Blanco, Reposado and Anejo.
Designed by el Jimador brand manager Jesus Ostos, each of the three variants will feature team colors and logos, soccer theme and graphic designs of agave plants in the background.
The bottles will be available for sale in 750ml bottle format for a limited period of two-month soccer season at retail stores all across the country.
Ostos said soccer creates a good platform for el Jimador to engage and relate with the company's consumers.
"Given the success of last year's commemorative soccer bottles, we continue offering aficionados the opportunity to bring their passion for soccer to life with Tequila el Jimador," Ostos added.
