Avure Technologies Food Division will open a new site in Middletown, Ohio, for manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and customer service operations. The company will begin renovations to an existing 50,000-sq-ft facility for production of high pressure processing (HPP) systems. The company expects to start operations in Middletown in the third quarter of 2013.
“Worldwide demand for Avure’s HPP technology is growing at an accelerated pace,” said Jan Söderström, President and CEO of Avure Technologies LLC. “Establishing a North American manufacturing operation is a key step in building the global infrastructure to support the rapidly expanding market. It also demonstrates our commitment to maintaining Avure’s leadership position and advancing innovation for the benefit of our customers.”
