Sweden-based spices supplier Santa Maria has unveiled its new dips - TexMex Onion & Garlic and TexMex Chunky Salsa - in a small SuperLock container.
The 215ml handy plastic container from RPC Superfos comes with a click-on screw lid.
Santa Maria packaging development technologist Åsa Yhlen said that the working procedure can be skipped due to In-Mould Labelling (IML), which means that the label is directly fused onto the plastic molding's surface.
"So the need for subsequent labelling is eliminated and this makes the filling process more efficient," Yhlen said.
The stacking facility of the SuperLock pot makes it easy to handle in connection with the filling process. The labels are in clear and sparkling colours and not susceptible to peeling, according to RPC.
Santa Maria was formerly known as Nordfalks and changed its name in January 2001. It produces and supplies spices and Mexican food for retail and food service sectors. The company's products include dry marinades, and sauces; ambient tortillas, beans, chili/jalapeños, chips, chip´n dips, guacamoles, ready to fill, salsa, shells, spice mix, squeeze bottles, and tortilla; noodles; chutneys, cooking sauces, grissini, pesto, and tomato products.
