Dave's Killer Bread (DKB), a US-based baker and distributor of organic whole grain breads, has appointed John Tucker as its new chief executive officer, effective 13 May 2013.
John Tucker has been the president of Eugene, Turtle Mountain and will now join DKB president and co-founder Dave Dahl, to support the company's expansion into new markets across the US.
Tucker has worked in the fields of quality assurance, research and development and product innovation with companies like Weight Watcher's, Kraft and Heinz. Later on, he broadened into marketing and business development with Turtle Mountain.
According to DKB, Tucker was instrumental in growing Turtle Mountain's lines of non-dairy products, primarily the SO Delicious brand, from $2m to nearly $100m.
Dave's Killer Bread offers grain, svelte spelt, raisin, good seed killer light, whole grains killer light, blues, blues bun, good seed, nuts and grain, rye, whole grain, cracked whole wheat, good seed spelt, power seed, sprouted wheat, and halo breads.
