Core Tip: Ingredion Incorporated, a leading global provider of ingredient solutions to diversified industries, announces the publication of “Q-NATURALESF: A High Performance Non-Cariogenic Encapsulation Matrix” white paper.
The paper presents how the company’s new ingredient solution – Q-NATURALESF, a high performing, sugar-free non-cariogenic encapsulation matrix, delivers superior encapsulation performance compared to alternative options available on the market.

This breakthrough technology enables manufacturers to address increasing consumer demand for sugar-free gums, oral care products and beverages.

Q-NATURALE SF high-performance, sugar-free encapsulant, optimized for spray drying encapsulations, offers 40% oil load. It delivers approximately 95% flavor retention and very low flavor oxidation. Due to its low viscosity, Q-NATURALE SF enables spray drying at 50% emulsion solids to significantly improve manufacturing efficiencies and flavor retention.

“We’re continually innovating ingredient solutions to address manufacturer needs, and truly excited about the sustainable benefits that Q-NATUALE SF high performance encapsulation matrix delivers,” said Jason Li, Technology and Innovation Leader, Global Delivery Systems with Ingredion. “This technology will result in operational efficiencies that our customers have been asking for as most flavor spray drying is carried out at 20% flavor load, by increasing oil load from 20% to 40%, manufacturing throughput doubles.”
