Trekkies rejoice! According to The Star, a Star Trek-themed beer aptly named Vulcan Ale is hitting the market. The Vulcan-inspired beer is an Irish red ale. The beer's co-founder, Dr. Richard Weger, says the Trekkies involved chose a variety that, "held the spirit of the show."
Thanks to a licensing agreement with CBS Paramount Consumer Products, the brew has been dubbed the first Star Trek, "officially licensed alcoholic beverage." For now the beer will only be available in Canada, but the brewers hope to reach more fans next year.
