Prime Food USA of Brooklyn, NY issued a voluntary recall of its Latis brand seafood after the New York Department of Agriculture and Markets found the bacteria in several samples of the company’s products.

The seafood products are sold in various sizes plastic oval type containers. All sized of these brands The UPC numbers for the products begin with 75100407…. . The products were imported from Latvia and sold nationwide.

This is the third Listeria recall issued by Latis this year. The company recalled its salmon and herring in oil in April for potential Listeria contamination and its herring fillets in May, also for the discovery of Listeria in samples of the product.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled seafood should return it to its point of purchase for a full refund.

No illnesses have been linked to the product to date.
