According to Foodbeast, all of the items will range from $1 to $2. One of the stranger offerings, called the Southwest Burger, is topped with white cheddar, barbecue ranch sauce, and tortilla strips.
Sound familiar? That's right, Taco Bell also offers a tortilla strip item (the Beefy Crunch Burrito) that's topped with Fritos instead of generic tortilla chips. Despite McDonald's recent attempts to make its menu healthier, this newest offering seems to be trying to capitalize on the success that Taco Bell has had pairing chips with classic menu items.
The new menu, which also includes the Bacon McDouble, Buffalo Ranch McChicken, Dijon Swiss Burger, McChicken Deluxe, and Bacon Hot ‘N Spicy McChicken, is currently being tested in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Columbia, South Carolina; Hartford, Connecticut; Memphis, Tennessee; and Fresno, California.
