Cyvex Nutrition will highlight a range of functional food and beverage ingredients at the IFT 2013 Expo in Chicago.
These functional ingredients include OmegaPure® which is a highly-refined, long-chain omega-3 fish oil prepared with custom antioxidant blends and specifically formulated for food and beverage applications. Cyvex will also showcase two vegetarian proteins. SOLATHIN® is a pure potato protein concentrate that delivers 40% of satiety-inducing protease inhibitor PI-2 to help individuals eat less and to give them more control over their weight management goals. As well as Alfapro™, an alfalfa juice protein concentrate that contains more than 50% protein, 18 amino acids, antioxidants, chlorophyll, xanthophylls, vitamins and minerals along with alpha-linolenic acid and omega-3 fatty acids.
Additionally, rBGH-free whey protein concentrates will be featured. These whey protein concentrates are artisan crafted 80%, hormone-free whey protein powders that are supplement-grade concentrates containing high levels of branched-chain amino acids and natural enzymes, vitamins, antioxidants and nutrients.
