Core Tip: Montalvo Spirits has entered into a sales and marketing agreement with Elite Agave Marketing to market and distribute its Montalvo Tequila brand in Florida, including Jacksonville, and other South American countries.
Montalvo Spirits, a Mexico-based developer, marketer and distributor of premium alcoholic beverages, has entered into a sales and marketing agreement with Elite Agave Marketing to market and distribute its Montalvo Tequila brand in Florida, including Jacksonville, and other South American countries.

Montalvo is available in three varieties: Plata, Reposado and Añejo. All the three variants are made from hand-picked 100% Blue Weber Agave sourced from the lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico.

Montalvo Spirits sales director Daniel Cahill said the company is looking forward to work with Elite to expand Montalvo Tequila throughout additional Florida markets.

"The initial response has been excellent in Jacksonville and we hope it will continue throughout the state," Cahill added.

Elite Agave marketing president Sebastian Montalvo said the company is pleased to be working with Montalvo Tequila in Florida and hope to aid in the expansion to international markets.

Montalvo Tequila is currently available in California, Florida, New York, and New Jersey, and is expected to be launched in Oregon and Connecticut in July and August 2013, respectively.

The company further plans to expand its distribution domestically and internationally, with additional wholesaler partnerships expected to be announced in summer 2013.
