Milkin', a Filipino-Italian business venture, plans to open 20 new outlets of Italian ice cream brand Fiorgelato in 2013 in the Philippines market.
The maker of Fiorgelato ice cream said that the store expansion program is part of the company's 25-year program.
Milkin' president and chief executive officer Richie Cuna told philSTAR that the company is on course to achieve its target.
"We may have encountered challenges in the past 20 years but we were not distracted from our mission and vision," Cuna added.
"We have laid the necessary foundation for the company. That is why I am positive that by the time we celebrate our 25th year anniversary, Milkin Corp. would have become one of the top companies in the Philippines."
Established in 1989, Fiorgelato brand started as Designer's Ice Cream Manufacturing Company created to formulate tailored ice cream products.
Presently, the company has presence across schools, exhibit halls, restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, bake shops, office lounges and scooping stations.
