Additional employment opportunities are sure to follow the recent opening of a $1.5 million U Save supermarket in Votulaevu in Nadi. The supermarket is just one store in an expansion plan that will see the opening of 18 more this year.
Managing director Bobby Khan, said, "More jobs have been created and I thank the government for its continued support as we strive to open at least 18 supermarkets in the country."
In officially opening the new supermarket, Attorney-General and Minister for Tourism Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum encouraged former Fijians living abroad — and locals — to invest in the country as government was providing incentives for investment.
