De Bortoli Wines, an Australia-based family-owned firm, has added Sia, a range of ready-to-drink (RTD) products, to its portfolio.
The Sia RTD comprises two varietals - Sia Moscato and Sia Pink Moscato.
The light and spritzy Moscato offers peach flavors and sweet taste, whereas Pink Moscato carries sweet, strawberry-musk flavors. Both the drinks are bottled at 8% ABV.
The company was quoted by The Shout as saying that it had introduced Sia to satisfy an opportunity in the market for a non-spirit-based wine product in an RTD format.
"Packaged in an easy to open and ready to drink 330ml bottle, Sia's label exudes femininity, elegance, and style," the company said.
"Sia has been created with the vision to bridge a gap in the market for those who are ready to move on from the traditional spirit based RTDs, but are not quite ready to embrace a glass of wine."
De Bortoli Wines managing director Darren De Bortoli told the website that the company hopes Sia will open up new distribution opportunities.
"We look forward to forging new relationships with retailers and on-premise venues, as well as furthering our offering to current De Bortoli customers," he added.
